    Thanks for the heads up. Seems like an interesting tool, is it very easy to use? Having difficulty opening up the link at the moment (IE won't display the page for some reason).

    hey David no prob, just letting people know what we use for all our tracking.

    Very simple layout and interface and I guess I should have mentioned that in the article. But yea definitely easy to use. Don't know why it wouldn't open for you ... Link just worked fine for me, but I'm on firefox.

    This is awesome. 1 question about rebalancing:

    Is the hedge rebalanced at each quarter as well to the adjusted percentage?

    Definitely amazing stuff, isn't it? Assuming that you are running a hedge on a portfolio, it is just a constant. I always think to buy SH as the hedge (since it is a single inverse of the S&P 500) rather than shorting SPY... that way you don't have to deal with margin rebates and all that fun stuff. So only the long positions are rebalanced theoretically and you just hold the allocation percentage of the hedge as fixed.
