    The 1929 crash is pretty much a carbon copy of this one. You can pull up two screens in Yahoo finance for the DOW and set each up for 2008 and 1929 and view them side by side. Then if you're really into gore, view the area from 1929 thru 1933..... Makes 'Saw 5' look like a kiddie party.

    Just read an article by Darrell Guppy, a technician from Down Under. This is a link to his article about how our present market compares to 1929. Well worth the read. Also, Louise Yamada feels the 29 crash is more similar than others. jegan
